Inspection Reports

What are GPhC inspection reports?

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) inspects registered pharmacies against five standards. Reports show whether the pharmacy met the standards, with improvement or enforcement action where needed. Premises ID is the same as the pharmacy's GPhC registration number.

Pharmacy context

This is a community pharmacy in a surgery in a largely residential area of Faversham. It provides NHS services such as the New Medicine Service, the Pharmacy First service and the Hypertension Case Finding service. And it provides an NHS Contraception service using patient group directions. It supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to people who need this support. And it delivers medicines to some people’s homes. This was an inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in May 2016, when it was under different ownership.
