This community pharmacy is situated in a large shopping centre in Derby city. The pharmacy dispenses NHS prescriptions, private prescriptions and sells over-the-counter medicines. It provides a range of other services including the NHS Pharmacy First service, the NHS blood pressure testing service, and the NHS contraceptive service. It also provides private pharmacy services such as travel and shingle vaccinations. The pharmacy is registered as a Yellow Fever Centre. It supplies some medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to people who reside in nursing homes to help them take their medicines at the right time.This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety.
